Once dispatched, orders are typically delivered within 2–6 working days, depending on your location. Deliveries to remote or outer areas may require additional time based on the serviceability of our courier partners.

International Deliveries

Sasitrends, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is pleased to offer worldwide shipping through trusted carriers such as DHL and FedEx.

Standard Rates

For orders under 1 kg that fit into our small boxes, a flat-rate shipping fee is applied automatically during checkout on our website. This fee covers the international courier charge from India to your destination, and no additional shipping costs are added at that stage unless your parcel exceeds the standard weight or size limits.

When packages exceed 1 kg or require a larger box, shipping costs are determined by the carrier based on the greater of the parcel's actual weight and its dimensional (volumetric) weight. This means that heavier pieces (e.g. oxidised designs) or longer items (such as harams) may cost more to ship because they take up additional space.

Extra-Weight Charges

For heavier shipments, carriers typically charge around ₹500–₹1,000 per extra kilogram. A 6 kg parcel, for example, might cost roughly ₹6,000 to ship. Larger parcels usually benefit from lower per-kilogram rates, but the total shipping cost depends on both the parcel's weight and dimensions.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes

The shipping charges paid to Sasitrends cover only the international courier charges from India to the destination country.

Customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, or any other charges imposed by customs authorities are determined solely by the customs department of the destination country and are not collected, controlled, or included by Sasitrends. These charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.

Please note that the majority of our international shipments are delivered without any customs charges. However, customs assessments vary by country and are entirely at the discretion of local customs authorities. Sasitrends has no influence over whether such charges are applied or the amount assessed.

Consolidation of Orders

To help reduce shipping costs, you can consolidate multiple purchases into a single parcel. If you're ordering items from other manufacturers—such as sarees—ask them to send those items to our Chennai address. We'll combine them with your jewellery and forward everything together in one shipment, which often reduces the overall shipping cost.

Careful Packaging & Transparency

We pride ourselves on secure, space-efficient packaging. Our team ensures that your items are protected while minimising parcel size wherever possible. We do not add any markup to courier fees; we simply pass on the carrier's actual shipping charges.

Once your parcel has been packed and weighed at the courier office, we'll notify you of the final shipping cost (if any additional charges apply), provide the courier's receipt, and send a secure payment link.
